Criw Cymraeg
Who are we?
We are a group of children from Year 2 to Year 6 that meet fortnightly to promote the use of Welsh Language across the school. We are passionate about Welsh and the use of Welsh Language in and across our school.
What do we do?
As Criw Cymraeg members, we help to encourage and promote the use of Welsh across the school. Already this year, we have been successful in introducing the 'Tocyn Iaith' scheme and 'Seren Cymraeg' certificates into Prize Assembly on a Friday. We love taking part in Prize Assembly each week!
We have also taken an active role in delivering assemblies promoting these initiatives, and we are role models in our use of Welsh in order to encourage others.
What are we planning next?
We are working towards the Cymraeg Campus silver award so we will be looking at the action plan to see where to go next. We will identify what we are already doing and how we can achieve the targets within our school.
