Our Community Hub, including the Uniform Shop and Food Share is open throughout the week. The food share contains a selection of dried food and tinned items. Please note it is only one visit per family each week. This is so we can help as many families as possible. These are freely available to families and we would encourage families to use them, or they would end up in landfill.
Our Uniform Shop also has a range of coats, shoes, fancy dress costumes and seasonal jumpers.
Newport City Council have circulated a letter about free School meals and the Schools Essentials Grant. Click here to view the letter.
All pupils are now entitled to Free School Meals, however, families on low incomes may be eligible to claim the School Essentials Grant.
This is a payment of £125 per child for pupils in Reception to Year 6. The grant for 2024-2025 is currently open. Click here to visit the website for more information and how to apply

As part of our school induction, we visit all children joining our school. A member of the FaCE team will visit you and your child at home to discuss the school and the things that are important to you. Its also an opportunity for you and your children to ask any questions you may have.
Our FaCE team can offer support and advice with parenting. There is also the Welsh Government Parenting. Give It Time website which has a wealth of information and links to support you and your child.
Parenting is one of the most rewarding jobs in the world, but we know it can be hard at times and there is no rule book. Our FaCE team is on hand to support you. Just speak to a member of the team.
The Welsh Government also has an excellent website with links, tips and advice on a range of topics relating to parenting.
These range from coping with tantrums, online safety to supporting children through a family bereavement.
We are delighted to be a Silver Heart of the Community School.
This award recognises the work we do within in our Community to support our pupils and their families as well as working with Community Partners.
