We are really lucky to have a number of online resources that we can access from home to help with our learning. Use the information below to find out how to access and use the different resources we have available at our finger tips!
We have also created a 'How To' Guide Website to support you in supporting your child with their learning. Click the button to find out more.
Every child in the school has a Google login as part of the Lliswerry Primary Domain. This provides access to the full range of G Suite tools and means that they can work collaboratively in and out of the classroom. In Key Stage Two, many of the classes have Google Classroom, an online classroom where teachers can set tasks and challenges for you to enjoy! Use the video to the left to find out a little more about Google Classroom.
You can use a Playstation or Xbox to access Google Classroom.
You will need to use the browser on the device and can then use the controller to help you to navigate.
Please use the guide opposite to help you to do this.
Your child’s teacher can send you photographs, videos, notes, links to websites, and can upload documents. This can be to show you the work your child has done or to set work and share important information. There are two different ways to access Seesaw both as a parent and as a child, either using a laptop/ desktop computer, or through a phone or tablet by downloading the app. Seesaw can be accessed by parents or by children, and each option looks rather different. All comments, photos, videos and notes added by parents or children will need to be approved by the class teacher before they are published. This is to ensure that safe and appropriate content is published for others to view.
Each Year Group has an account with your child's name allocated to it. You will have received a seesaw invitation which will have had a code or a QR code for you to access. The invitation will have directed you to access Seesaw through laptop/ desktop, or by downloading the Seesaw family app.
Laptop/ desktop access – You will go on to the Seesaw website and there will be three choices. You are directed to click on the third choice which is family member. Here your computer will ask to access the camera so that you can scan the QR code. After that, your child’s class teacher will approve your access and you will be able to view your child’s journal and the messages sent to your inbox by the class teacher.
Phone/ tablet – Parents will need to download the Seesaw app ‘Seesaw family’, you will be asked to scan the QR code and enter an email address and password when creating your account.

What is Mathletics? Mathletics is an all-in-one teaching, learning, and reporting platform for mathematics used by our children in Year 3 - Year 6. Children work through a question set, and answers are automatically marked. As the children work, they have access to instructional materials like text-based notes and examples, skill-building videos, and interactives they can play with to develop a strong understanding. Dashboards show progress for each strand as well as points earned. Learning is its own reward, but the weekly points, gold bars, and certificates are an added bonus.
What is Mathseeds? Mathseeds is a highly motivating, interactive Web-based program for students in Nursery through to Year 2. Mathseeds teaches the children the core Numeracy and problem-solving skills needed to be successful at school through fun, highly interactive, and rewarding lessons. The program begins at an absolute beginner level, so students need no prior knowledge to start.

Giglets is an online reading resource that provides a library for you in your home. Your teacher will assign you books that you can access. Some are longer, some are shorter, and many of them have sound effects! There are sometimes questions and things to think about that go with the book you are assigned. You can also highlight and find out about key themes in the story - these will save to your copy of the book so you can come back to them time and time again! Click here to go to Giglets.
Each child should have a login for each of these online resources. If they don't, or they have forgotten them, please ask the class teacher. They will be happy to make sure you have one!
